Happiness: Does Stuff Make You Happy, or Are You Happy Being You?

Joy Leads to Happiness!

The Bible frequently emphasizes the significance of joy in the life of a believer and how it paves the way for true happiness. Biblical joy is a deep, abiding sense of well-being that comes from knowing and trusting God, regardless of circumstances. Happiness, on the other hand, is often seen as a more fleeting emotion tied to external situations. However, when joy is rooted in faith, it becomes a stable foundation for lasting happiness.

Do you buy something you’ve been wanting, and a short time later, find it really didn’t matter?

Have a great job and family, but still feel something is missing?

Feel like, “Is this it? Doesn’t life have more to offer?”

Care about other people’s approval, other than God or immediate family members.

Satisfied with personal life, or saying what personal life.

What this is telling you is that you are not connecting to spirit. Keep in mind there’s only one you.

This being the case, only you will get the answers needed to find your purpose and happiness.

While others may help guide you on the road to finding your purpose, only you will know when it feels right.
